Stage 2 water restrictions are in effect in Greenwood
The City of Greenwood public alert says Stage 2 water restrictions are in effect. Even-numbered addresses are listed for Tuesdays and Saturdays; odd-numbered addresses for Wednesdays and Sundays. Automatic sprinklers are limited to midnight–6:00 a.m.; manual sprinklers/outside taps are listed for midnight–11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.–midnight.
The alert says residents may not fill swimming pools, hot tubs, garden ponds or decorative fountains; wash vehicles using water; or wash driveways or sidewalks. Hand watering of trees, shrubs, flowers, vegetable gardens and other landscape plants remains permitted.
